Study Abroad Programs: 2010 Training Programme for Young Leaders (TPYL) — Apply for a study abroad programs today for 2010 Training Programme for Young Leaders (TPYL) offered by Japan International Cooperation Agency.

The program will provide opportunities for young Filipino leaders to be exposed to Japan’s technologies related to their specialized fields, namely;

1. Support System for Person with Disabilities
2. Community Tourism Promotion
3. Maternal and Child Health Management
4. Administrative Management
5. Post War Reconstruction and Peace-building

Qualifications:
*Filipino citizen
*Twenty (20) to Thirty-five (35) years old
*Directly engaged the related category/field applied for
*Physically and mentally fit to travel and undergo training
*From non-military sector
*Should not have, in principle, been to Japan
*Holder of a valid passport (valid at least until August 2011);
*Government employees must secure Official Passport upon acceptance;
*Preferably a holder of a permanent position and has completed at least two (2) years of permanent service; and
*No pending application for scholarship under another study program.

Deadline for Support System for PWD course, Community Tourism Promotion course and Maternal and Child Health Management course is at 5:00 PM, Tuesday, 31 August 2010.

Deadline for the other course will be at 5:00, Thursday, 30 September 2010.
